Manufacturers love quoting WLTP range figures. It’s tempting to assume that means cruising up the motorway at around 130 km/h.
In practice, the lab and the open road don’t always see eye to eye. To stop a long trip turning into a charging marathon, here are some down‑to‑earth ways to eke out a bit more range.
Drive smoothly and read the road, so you’re not constantly braking and accelerating. Go with the flow without the stop–start drama. If it helps, turn off one‑pedal driving and use a low regen setting to coast where safe.
